Terms of Service

Chat XP is a Discord bot and a web dashboard. This page tells you the rules for use of the service. When you add the bot to a Discord server, you agree to these rules. When you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who can use the service

You must obey the Discord Terms of Service. You must be old enough to use Discord. A server admin controls the bot for each server.

What the service does

• The bot gives XP to members when they send messages.
• The bot gives one coloured tier role for each level range.
• The bot tracks daily quests that give bonus XP.
• The dashboard lets an admin change the settings.

Your responsibilities

• Do not use the service to break the law.
• Do not try to break, overload, or attack the service.
• Do not try to get XP in a false way.
• A server admin must set fair rules for the members.

Availability

We try to keep the service on at all times. We do not promise that the service is always available. We can change or stop the service at any time. We can remove the bot from a server at any time.

No warranty

We give the service "as is". We do not promise that the service has no faults. You use the service at your own risk.

Limit of liability

We are not responsible for lost data, lost XP, or lost roles. We are not responsible for damage that comes from use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We can change these terms. We show the new date at the top of this page. When you continue to use the service, you agree to the new terms.
