Quests

A quest is a small daily task. A member completes a quest to earn bonus XP. The bot tracks quests automatically from normal activity. A member does not submit anything. This page tells you how quests work.

How quests work

• The bonus XP goes into the member's normal total.
• So quest XP helps a member reach the next level and tier role.
• The bot tracks progress from normal messages. There is nothing to submit.
• Quests refresh one time each night. A new day gives new quests.

The refresh time

Quests refresh at a time that you choose. You set the time and the timezone on the Quests page. At the refresh time, the daily quests start again.

How to turn quests on or off

You control quests on the Quests page:

1. Open the Quests page.
2. Use the "Quests enabled" box to turn all quests on or off.
3. Use the switch on each quest to turn that one quest on or off.
4. Click the save button.

Quests unlock as members level up

Some quests are more difficult. These quests unlock at a higher level. A member sees a quest only when the member reaches the unlock level. An easy quest is open to everyone. A member never loses a quest that the member unlocked.

How members see their quests

A member uses the /quests command in Discord. The command shows the quests, the progress, the reward, and the time until the next refresh.
